About Us

Positive Recruitment is owned and run by two people who are very commercially minded and passionate about honest, good value business.

Caroline Mellor and Stacey Stewart have over 20 years combined experience  within the recruitment industry both as recruiters and agency owners.  Having decided to join forces and put their integrity and love for finding ‘the right candidate for the right role’ into practice, Positive Recruitment Consultants Ltd was born.

Stacey says: “We have been described by our clients as a refreshing change to the recruitment industry, we’re not sales people and don’t have overzealous personalities.  We listen, understand and work with our clients and candidates to achieve what they need and not simply fill jobs!”

Caroline says: “Our own integrity dictates the standard of work and relationships we have within our business.  We never compromise on the level of commitment needed to work with any of our clients, whether they are small Sole Traders or large national companies.  We want the service we provide and the candidates we place to add real value to our client’s businesses.”

Positive Recruitment works in a very different way to most agencies with none of our recruiters being  targeted in anyway. We allow our clients to decide the amount of support they require in the recruitment process. Stacey and Caroline can assist with writing job descriptions, CV searching, interviewing techniques (sitting in on the interviews) writing offer letters and employment contracts. Others clients simply use Positive Recruitment to advertise a role, CV search, arrange interviews and negotiate offers.

With almost 15 years experience in the recruitment industry Stacey has an excellent knowledge and understanding of local businesses and their needs and requirements. Having worked at management level for the last 10 years Stacey is a driven and proactive person and strives to provide employers and candidates with an efficient and effective service.

Caroline Mellor Caroline Mellor

With over 10 years sales and customer service experience 5 being directly in the recruitment industry Caroline prides herself on offering a friendly and professional service, whilst building effective relationships with both clients and candidates alike.

Both Stacey and Caroline have run successful businesses before and therefore have an excellent insight into the challenges and needs of local businesses. We appreciate that finding the right staff or job can be a stressful experience, and we will guarantee to be on hand with a friendly ear to discuss any needs, queries or issues you may have.
